The Scream Story Sequel (Chapter 9) Written by SpikeŽ and Brandon

Ray and his girlfriend Sally sat on the couch watching a movie. Brandy was upstairs in her room waiting for Brett to return home. Ray excused himself,and walked into the kitchen. He threw some popcorn in the microwave,and walked into the bathroom. Outside the house,Cathy was trying to break in. She picked the lock,and opened the door. Ray was in the bathroom,and didn’t hear Cathy come in. Cathy walked into the living room were she saw Sally. Thinking she was Brandy,Cathy walked closer. Sally was too involved in the movie to see Cathy creeping even closer with a knife in her hand. "Ray,hurry up!" Sally said.

Cathy walked closer with an evil grin on her face. She would put this whore through such pain,that she’ll beg to die. Cathy was only inches away from Sally in the dark room. Cathy’s hand shook. "This is going to be great!",she thought as she raised the knife. Sally looked up at Cathy,and tried to scream. Sally’s mouth opened but before a scream could come out,Cathy drove the knife deep into Sally’s throat. Cathy heard a toilet flush,and hid in the closet. Ray walked into the room,and saw Sally’s dead body. Ray ran forward and grabbed Sally’s body. With the closet door ajar,Cathy looked at Sally. "Wait a minute.",thought Cathy,"That isn’t Brandy! She must still be alive!" Cathy jumped out of the closet,knife in a hand. Ray turned around just in time to see the knife sink deep into his skin,inches from his heart. Ray saw the blood leak from his wound as Cathy went to stab him again. Ray dodged the knife,and ran into the kitchen. From there,he ran up the stairs to warn Brandy. Cathy followed him,dressed in her costume. Inside the room,Brandy was listing to her CD’s. Ray knocked on the door once,but Brandy didn’t her him. Ray tried to knock again,but Cathy stabbed him in his shoulder. Ray pounded on the door as he groaned in pain. Brandy turned down the music,and heard the knocks. She opened the door to see Ray bleeding like crazy. "Run!!!",he yelled.

Brandy tried to bring Ray in,but she soon saw Cathy stab Ray in the back. Brandy screamed as her brother’s blood splashed on her face. Soon, she saw Ray’s lifeless body fall to the floor,and Cathy try to get in. Brandy shut the door and locked it. She turned around,looking for a way out. She looked at her window as she heard Cathy try to break in. Brandy opened the window and tried to crawl onto the roof. Cathy broke through the door and saw Brandy’s legs. She grabbed one and slashed it. Brandy screamed and lifted herself onto the roof,as did Cathy. Brandy crawled up trying to keep her balance. Cathy ran after her as Brandy held onto the chimney. Cathy lunged at her with the knife. Brandy dodged the knife but fell down off the roof. Brandy reached out and grabbed the rain gutter. Cathy walked over smiling at her.

"Don’t do this!",Brandy cried. Cathy smiled at her as she kicked at Brandy’s face. As Cathy’s leg came forward,Brandy grabbed it and pulled her off the roof. Cathy fell and grabbed hold of Brandy’s leg. The two of them dangled from the rain gutter,which was breaking due to the weight. Brandy shook her leg and sent Cathy falling of the rain gutter. Brandy tried to pull herself up, but the gutter collapsed sending Brandy falling into the air. Brandy landed on top of an old tree in her yard. She heard the branches snapping beneath her and prayed she would not fall below to Cathy.
